It’s hot, it’s humid, it’s… well… the height of Summer, y’all. Slake your thirst with…
Oui oui!
We got our silly minds together with our silly friends from Badger Hill and came up with this darn tasty lil’ bevvy. Born out of a mutual love for pilsners of all shapes, sizes, and from all places… we decided to make quite the obscure banger.Built on a simple base of fantastic French pilsen from our pals at Malteurop, with a bit o’ malted corn from our other pals at Riverbend Malting tossed in the mix as well. Research suggests that corn is/was used in the creation of some pilsners/lagers in certain regions of France. We decided to roll with it and utilize it for more nuance. A dollop of traditional French Strisselspalt hops were also used to lend a rustic herbal note, as well as some delightful floral tones. And last, but certainly not least, we pitched the ever-stalwart Augusteiner lager strain to lend its crispy and clean talents to the fold. Fermented low n’ slow for maximum crushability…Get your butts on down here and snag some of this lovely gem. Bonus… it’s on side-pour as well! And while y’all are at it… head on down to Badger Hill’s taproom in Shakopee, MN sometime soon and try out some of their delicious offerings! For all you lager nerds, they’ve got a pilsner on right now that is aces!
Cheers!
