An exercise in balance and texture masquerading as a dessert. This sour is fermented with an assemblage of boysenberry, blueberry, and raspberry — each chosen not for mere sweetness, but for the complex interplay of tannin, acidity, and phenolic nuance they lend. The result is a deeply saturated magenta pour, carrying aromas of bramble fruit preserves with a whisper of vinous intrigue.
Despite the name, there’s no dairy to be found here; the “cream” emerges instead from a luxuriously soft, almost custard-like mouthfeel, the byproduct of attentive fermentation and a touch of residual body. Tart, fruit-forward, and lavishly textured, Berries & Cream is less a pastry sour and more a studied exploration of fruit, acid, and structure.

Made in collaboration with our good friends, Will and Felix, from Beerploma. This take on a California Common is anything but “common.” Built on a base of trusty ol’ pale malt, with a supporting cast consisting of: Vienna, Munich, dextrin, steamed crystalized C3.5, and a sprinkle of carafa II de-husked for color. A couple small drops of clean Helios hops were added for balance and a bit o’ snap. A traditional Steam/Common yeast strain was used to ferment it all out. We also gave this beer a “mini-lager” period of time nice and cold to get crispier… because why not, eh? Malt-nuanced, while still maintaining a dang refreshing edge, this gem of a beer is delicious and perfect for gaming gatherings of all kinds. Life is too short, y’all. Grab your family and friends, break out your favorite board game, sip some suds, and play to win!!

Named after the goat that supplies endless amounts of liquid libations of the boozy sort to the warriors of Valhalla, this German-Style Bock with a Norse titled twist is a delectable and tasty gem.Built on a base of German Pilsner malt, with a support from a full array of German specialty malts to boot. Hallertau Mittelfruh hops provide delicate balance and a touch of continental noble earthiness. A traditional Bock lager yeast strain rounds everything out nicely. It slumbered for many moons until clean, clear, & delectable. Full time from grain to glass: 8 weeks. Malt-forward with a medium-full body... it evokes notes of toasted bread, light toffee, a smidge of nuttiness, and a wisp of dark fruit. It finishes decently dry despite its mouthfeel. Enjoy around a fire with friends and family regaling each other with legendary tales of eons gone by...

If you’re new around these parts, then there are two things you should know about us here at Nine Mile Brewing: 1) We love a good ol’ West Coast IPA, and 2) We’ll never stop until we’ve made the best around! Join us in imbibing in our latest crack at the latter, our “Statement of Westy.”Like it’s most recent predecessor, SOW is crisp, clean, and (obviously) hop-forward—but we like to play around in the kitchen and keep folks on their toes. Our malt bill got a little bit of a facelift: now featuring a base malt designed specifically for IPAs from the folks over at Gambrinus Malting to provide balanced sweetness and body that allows our hops to really shine. In the kettle, Cascade, El Dorado, and Centennial CGX hops come together to give us plenty of bite, while a hefty dry hop of Cascade, Chinook CGX, and Columbus CGX provide a classically strong nose of citrus and pine that will have you thinking you’re sipping on the West Coast. Do you remember when recess was your favorite subject in school? And on those days when your lunch was packed with a peanut butter, honey & banana sandwich, you were livin’ your best life!! Webster’s Dictionary tells us that recess is a suspension of business or work, often for rest or relaxation. It’s the period of time between working on a project when we can just chill. Built on a mixed base of pilsner & pale malts, with a touch of white wheat for a light & slightly nuanced backbone. Bravo hops provide delicate balance while a decent smack of clover honey lends a wisp of sweetness, as well as body. Lil' additions of PB gives off aroma/flavor of itself. Last, but certainly not least, we utilized a super neat yeast strain from our pals at @omegayeast that releases fruity esters of bananas without having to add any actual bananas... science is rad! Light to medium bodied, with mild bready notes, whiffs of peanut butter, & pleasant banana tones... take a breather, an intermission from your busy day to enjoy this blonde ale and reflect on some of the best days of your life.

Built on a base of German Pilsner malt with hefty drops of both Vienna & Munich malts. German Saphir hops provide delicate balance. And last, but certainly not least, a traditional German lager yeast rounds everything out. Lagered out for a lengthy six weeks for maximum clarity and crispness. It’s no secret that New England IPAs are the darling of the beer world at present. One might say they are the current obsession. With that in mind, we crafted a quintessential haze-craze IPA to imbibe. Built upon a base of Pilsner malt, backed up by hefty doses of white & torrified wheats & gobs of oats. Azacca & Idaho 7 work together to create flavors/aromas of punchy citrus, bright mango, & a hint of dank pine. An expressive London Ale yeast strain coupled with the aforementioned wheat & oats to create haze stability, softness, & very light sweetness.

As a tip of the hat & a big nod to traditional ales across the proverbial pond, we crafted up an English-Style Mild as our House Pub Ale! The malt bill is made up of 100 percent British malts. Maris Otter, Golden Naked Oats, Pale Chocolate, Crystal T-50, Dextrin, & Brown Malt meld together to offer up varied notes of toast, nuttiness, light toffee, Tootsie Rolls, & a wisp of roast. And while malt is undoubtedly the star of the show, a traditional English yeast strain adds slight notes of oaky wood & a bit o’ body too.

Simple ingredients yield simple pleasures. This lil’ crusher is our house lager. A base of Pilsner malt, coupled with German Diamant hops and a sprinkle of Apollo for balanced bitterness provide subtle nuances to this crispy beer. Slightly-sweet cracker maltiness merges with hints of bright citrus & floral notes. What’s in the name? Welp… its a totally made up spelling for a “shift beer”. Fun & cheeky? Yes. Crisp & refreshing? Also, yes!

Not too bitter, not too light, you’ll find this classic American Cream Ale to be just right when you visit our den. As golden as the strands on Goldilock’s head, a base of 2-row stout malt accentuated by a touch of Vienna provides the background for plenty of flaked and malted corn to shine through, then a rippin’ Kolsch ale strain lends to a pleasant but subtle fruity character that keeps you sipping for more. A handful of Lotus hops balance out that malty sweetness while Kazbek provides the finishing noble and citrus aromas that make this beer one everyone is sure to enjoy.
