Get your hands in the clay and create a one-of-a-kind little gnome full of personality!

In this hands-on clay experience, artists will learn how to shape and build with clay as they create their own whimsical gnome. You’ll form the body, add a tall textured hat, sculpt a nose and beard, and finish your gnome with all the little details that make it uniquely yours. No two gnomes will look exactly alike—and that’s part of the fun!

This is a beginner-friendly, process-based project designed to encourage creativity, experimentation, and play. The Arts Creative brings the clay, tools, supplies, and instruction to you, making it possible to enjoy a real ceramics experience through our mobile art programming.

What Happens to My Gnome After the Event?Your gnome won’t be ready to take home the day you create it. Clay needs time to dry completely before it can safely go through the firing process.

Please allow approximately two weeks for your ceramic piece to fully dry and be fired.

Once your gnome is finished and ready to go home, you’ll receive a confirmation email at the email address used during registration with pickup information.

Please Pick Up Within Two WeeksOnce you receive your ready-for-pickup email, you will have two weeks to pick up your ceramic piece.

We love being able to bring real clay experiences out into the community through our mobile programming! Because we are a small studio and create a lot of artwork with our community, however, we simply don’t have the space to store finished ceramics long-term.

Any pieces not picked up within two weeks of the pickup notification will be lovingly rehomed.
