A non-alcoholic version of a light, citrusy wheat ale
Kernza? Again? Yup!We’ve got another banger of a beer for y’all to ring in this new year. High-kilned Kernza is utilized once more, but with a more restrained hand this time. This lovely lager is clean and crisp with a faint wisp of toasted almond on the palate.Built on a base of Barke Pilsner, with a touch of Barke Vienna, and the aforementioned malted Kernza. (again provided by our pals at RahrBSG) Hallertau Mittelfruh hops provide delicate balance as well as their famed noble hop aromatics. A traditional continental yeast strain rounds it out perfectly and lets us also lager it out slow n’ cold for many weeks.Clean and nuanced, with a lightly-full body. Lager lovers, come and snag a pint of this for dang sure!(P.S. – Please see Kernza Altbier post from a few days ago to learn more about Kernza itself if y’all want more info!)The Deets:Malts
