Made in collaboration with our good friends, Will and Felix, from Beerploma. This take on a California Common is anything but “common.”
Built on a base of trusty ol’ pale malt, with a supporting cast consisting of: Vienna, Munich, dextrin, steamed crystalized C3.5, and a sprinkle of carafa II de-husked for color. A couple small drops of clean Helios hops were added for balance and a bit o’ snap. A traditional Steam/Common yeast strain was used to ferment it all out. We also gave this beer a “mini-lager” period of time nice and cold to get crispier… because why not, eh?
Malt-nuanced, while still maintaining a dang refreshing edge, this gem of a beer is delicious and perfect for gaming gatherings of all kinds. Life is too short, y’all. Grab your family and friends, break out your favorite board game, sip some suds, and play to win!!
